Doing the workshop groups this week helped me to understand a little bit more of what was being asked and what I needed to do. I think the most interesting and scary thing I learned this week was that the combined number of people in the state of Mississippi who are considered obese and overweight was 67.3% of the population. That really opened my eyes. I am not exactly sure of what i need to do to make it timely though.
I know that i need to find something that is kind of contradictory. I think the audience will be people that are concerned with the obesity problem that faces America and the health of the people.
I'm not exactly sure why I am invested in this topic. It just happened to catch my attention and really make me go Wow when we talked about it in my Health and Quality of Life class.
In high school my teachers told me to write without any personal involvement so it would look more professional. I was just taught to never do it. But last semester with my teacher Carrie Sippy, I learned that anything that I write has a piece of me in it. It has my thoughts, my emotion, and my own writing style. I am always including something personal as I learned from a article called "All Writing is Autobiography".

A interesting thing that I have read was a periodical called Obesity with guest editors Derek Leroith and Eddie Karnieli. It was interesting to hear about the different things of Obesity and to know more in depth about it. Another thing that was interesting was the PowerPoint that was shown in my Health and Quality of Life class. Showing the United states and the statistics of obesity over the last 20 to 30 years. And the alarm it brought to my mind. Right now my question is, What is Obesity? I'm not exactly sure if this is what I should be asking and I could probably expand it.

Annotated Bibliograohy
The topic I am choosing is The good and bad eating habits affecting obesity as well as exercise. In my Health and Quality of Health class we are talking about nutrition and we have talked a little about obesity. It's a huge problem in America and I was just thinking about how it could be approached. Being healthy and nutritional about it, I just feel that it would be a good topic for me. But Mrs Ingram, I'm not exactly sure if this is what your asking for. Is there anything else that you would like to regarding this topic?
